Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain dedicated servers, domain servers, and cloud infrastructure. Ensure server availability, reliability, and optimal performance. 2. Utilize tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate server setup, configuration, and maintenance. Implement scalable and repeatable server management processes. 3. Monitor server performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic. Identify and resolve server bottlenecks, ensuring resource optimization. 4. Monitor systems and applications using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic. 5. Implement server-level security practices to protect against vulnerabilities. Regularly update and patch servers to maintain security compliance. 6. Configure systems to ensure high availability and reliability in production environments. Handle scalability to support increasing workloads and traffic. 7. Work closely with development and operations teams to align server configurations with application needs. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications: 1. Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in application development, server management, and domain. 2. Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems. 3. Experience in managing servers in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. 4. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to oversee server performance. 5. Proficient in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate server tasks. 6. Expertise in using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. 7. Understanding of monitoring and logging principles (e.g. ELK Stack, Prometheus). 8. Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation. 9. Expertise in CI/CD pipeline integration for streamlined server deployments.
