Job Overview:
For a new opening in Phnom Penh - Bassac Lane, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the beverage & service operations at Spices Road Bistro-Lounge. As the leader of our bar team, you will be responsible for crafting an exceptional drink menu inspired by global flavors and spices, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and managing all aspects of the bar’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Menu Development: With our team of mixologists, implement and curate an innovative menu of cocktails, mocktails, and beverages that complement the bistro-lounge’s spice-forward concept.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage bartenders and bar staff, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and service.
Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional guest service, fostering a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for patrons.
Bar Operations: Oversee daily bar operations, including stock management, cleanliness, and compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and maintain budgetary control over bar expenses.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with management to design and execute beverage offerings for private events, themed nights, or promotions.
Problem Solving: Handle customer complaints, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or in a similar role within a bistro, lounge, or hospitality setting.
In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and alcohol regulations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize bar profitability.
