Le Grand Palais Hotel in Phnom Penh is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team. If you are passionate about food preparation, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and enjoy a varied culinary role, we encourage you to apply.
Work Schedule: split shift
Morning Shift: 7AM - 10:30 AM
Break: 1.5 hours
Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $400 per month
Accommodation provided
Food provided
Responsibilities:
Ensure the breakfast buffet is consistently replenished with fresh and appealing food items throughout the service period.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
Prepare nutritious and satisfying meals for hotel staff.
Cook dishes according to our delivery menu, ensuring quality and timely preparation.
Prepare items for the hotel's small snack menu, maintaining consistency and presentation.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies as needed.
Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
Work efficiently and effectively within the given timeframes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility and a positive attitude.
