KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators according to
established schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and perform necessary
repairs or replacements.
- Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper functioning of elevator systems, including
motor controls, safety features, and operational mechanisms.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and component
replacement, to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and
parts inventory.
- Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner to
minimize downtime.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree in TVET, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in elevator maintenance
- 3+ years of experience in leading technician team
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and controls system.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve
technical issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet
maintenance schedules and deadlines.
- Team Leadership skill.
- Collaborate with the installation teams to provide technical expertise and support during new
equipment installations and upgrades.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment
and following safe work practices at all times.
