Finance Supervisor (Hotel Industry)

Job Purpose To oversee the financial operations of PG Hotel & Resort, ensuring effective management of financial processes, adherence to policies, and accurate reporting. The Finance Supervisor plays a key role in budgeting, monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and maintaining internal controls.
Key Responsibilities (JR) - Financial Management & Reporting - Supervise the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. - Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budget. - Internal Controls & Compliance - Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and external regulations. - Conduct regular audits of financial documents and procedures. - Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Accounts Payable & Receivable - Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. - Review and reconcile invoices, receipts, and financial transactions. - Address discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments. - Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. - Provide training, guidance, and support to team members as needed. - Delegate tasks and monitor team performance, ensuring timely completion of deliverables. - Prepare and file all tax-related documents, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. - Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed. Cost Management - Monitor and control costs to improve profitability and efficiency. Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - At least 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with supervisory experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
