Key Responsibilities:
1.Guest Service:
Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Assist with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
2.Reservations and Booking Management:
Handle reservations and cancellations over the phone, through email, or in person.
Manage room assignments and ensure that guest preferences are accommodated.
Update and maintain accurate reservation records in the property management system.
3.Administrative Duties:
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle correspondence as needed.
Prepare and process guest billing, including issuing invoices and handling payments.
Maintain and organize front desk paperwork and files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

4.Check-In/Check-Out Procedures:
Verify guest identification, confirm reservation details, and assign rooms.
Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Process guest check-outs, ensuring all charges are accurate and resolving any discrepancies.
5.Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and coordinate services.
Notify guests of any changes to their reservation or room status.
6.Problem Resolution:
Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, seeking to resolve problems to the guest’s satisfaction.

7.Cash Handling and Financial Transactions:
Manage cash drawer, process payments, and handle financial transactions accurately.
Reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports for the end-of-shift or end-of-day.
8.Safety and Security:
Monitor and maintain security procedures to ensure guest safety and property security.
Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
9.Guest Services and Amenities:
Assist guests with special requests, such as transportation, bookings, or special arrangements.
Provide information and recommendations about local attractions, dining, and entertainment options.

10.Compliance:
Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, guest privacy, and emergency protocols.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality management is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems and office software; experience with property management systems (PMS) is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
Shift work, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, may be required.
Physical demands include standing, sitting, and using office equipment for extended periods.
