Position Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven GM to join our team in a very ‘hands-on’ role! The CEO be responsible for leading the day-to-day financial resources, sales, marketing and operations of the business supporting sustainable and continuous growth in a dynamically changing and challenging market.
You are responsible for budget and actions planning and implementations and liaise with the board to allow DS to make the best business decisions for the company.
In this position, you’ll have a significant responsibility for the financial health of DS - producing financial reports and developing strategies - so we expect you to be a hardworking and inspiring leader that can ‘get things done’ in even the most difficult of situations.
In addition, we expect you to have great people skills, excellent business acumen, an outstanding work ethic and are passionate about the e commerce and distribution sector, we would love to hear from you!

CEO Responsibilities:
• Ensure planning are optimized to best serve our clients, while reducing the company costs.
• Develop business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
• Lead and motivate the team
• Oversee all day-to-day operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
• Propose investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
• Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
• Build trust relations with key partners, suppliers and stakeholders
• Analyze situations and provide solutions to ensure company growth
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
• Negotiate contracts, best deals with suppliers to permanently update the company offering and always be ahead of others and able to address new clientele.
• Manage the marketing team to optimize the company visibility and customer’s acquisition.
• Establish guidelines for the stock policy to be followed by the operation team
• Oversee the finance department employees, including accountants and assistants.
• Track the company's financial performance to identify areas for potential improvement including analyzing costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results…
• Follow KPI, including number of users.
• Seek out methods for cost-saving opportunities.
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports while recommending further courses of action.
• Present financial reports to board members.
• Stay up to date with technological advances and software /app/website.
• Establish and maintain procedures for the company.
• Understand and adhere to regulations and legislation.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Proven experience in management in either FMCG, import/distribution, retail, F&B or other related fields
• Experience in the ecommerce with previous possible similar roles
• Extensive understanding of e commerce trends and general market patterns
• Proficient user of main Microsoft software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate processes are being used
• An understanding of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of most statutory legislation and regulations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment
• Flexible – can handle ambiguity of working in fast paced company
• Passionate about the e-commerce sector
• Problem solving mindset
• Leadership qualities
• Proficiency in Khmer, Chinese, Korean and/or Japanese not required but preferred
