Job Title: Sales Manager

IS’s Title: Chief Logistics Officer
Department: Operation
Station: Phnom Penh
Working Hours: Mon-Sat: 8:00am – 5:30pm (half a day for Saturday)

JOB SUMMARY:
Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting & selling company logistics services to clients by pro-actively looking for new clients from time to time. Shall be responsible to identify and target clients with high volume and profit margin by ensuring the quotations cover all the associated cost. The Sales Manager shall maintain good working relationship with clients and attend to solved operations matters by working closely with operation to ensure high level of service is provided to clients to meet the performance target.

The employee shall provide his/her services to cover only the WIC’s businesses

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• To identify and prospect new logistics business by proactively reaching out to prospective or existing clients, initiating sales calls to discuss logistics services and build relationships.
• To be responsible for account Supervision for existing accounts daily to retain client relationships by maintaining strong connections with clients is crucial for long-term success.
• To be responsible for negotiating pricing and service terms with both customers and carriers and ensure to secure favorable deals.
• To set and establish sales goals to achieve target and guide staffs under their supervision their efforts in meeting revenue and growth objectives.
• To build rapport with clients and prospects is vital to assess specific client needs, anticipate requirements, and creatively promote the organization’s services.
• To coordinate and work closely operations with shipping companies and agents to arrange pickup and delivery of products and handle documentation related to shipping details.
• To maximize profitability by ensuring the cost is covered with profit margins by making comparison of rates before submission the quotations to customers with approval from superior.
• To provide customer support by attending to customers’ complaint, related to shipment & follow up with operation and provide solutions
• Prepare weekly reports on sales lead and pipeline, revenue and profit, operations update and others to Superior and senior management
• To provide coaching and training to subordinates to improve performance
• To perform any other function & task as requested by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Preferably a Bachelor Degree of Logistics, & Supply Chain Management and Business Management or relevant qualification from a reputable University
• Previous experiences of minimum five (5) years or more in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a 3PL or manufacturing business environment
• Strong knowledge of logistics & supply chain management, 3PL business, transportation, warehouse operations, distribution, multi modal, shipping, and inventory management.
• Experience in managing multiple client accounts and coordinating end-to-end logistics operations.
Technical skills:
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office such as Excel, Power Point and Word
• Good understanding of costing of services and pricing to clients
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.
• Able to prepare sales lead and other management report for management
Leadership and management abilities:
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage subordinates
• Ability to set clear goals and priorities, delegate tasks, and monitor performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and optimize processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex logistics data, identify trends, and propose improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to represent the company externally with key stakeholders
