Bioderma is one of the main leading French dermo-cosmetic brands. Created in 1977, it is today among the top 10 worldwide brands in dermo-cosmetics and is present in over 100 countries. Bioderma has opened a joint venture structure in January 2022 in Phnom Penh under the name Mintha Care (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. To support its strong development in Cambodia, Mintha Care is looking for new passionate Medical Manager
I JOB SUMMARY The Medical Manager will oversee the Medical strategy and operations for Mintha Care (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, reporting directly to the General Manager and the Country Representative. This role is critical in ensuring that the medical team effectively engages with healthcare professionals, promotes medical education, and supports the overall growth of Bioderma Brand in the region. The Medical Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with key opinion leaders, managing medical education initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
II. Main duty: • Strategic Planning and Implementation
o Develop and execute the medical strategy for Bioderma in alignment with corporate objectives. o Identify opportunities for collaboration with healthcare professionals and institutions to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
• Team Leadership and Development
o Lead and mentor the medical sales team, providing guidance on best practices for engaging with healthcare professionals. o Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s knowledge of dermatological conditions and Bioderma products.
• Medical Education and Engagement
o Organize and oversee medical symposiums, continuing medical education (CME) workshops, and scientific conferences to promote knowledge about skin diseases and Bioderma’s product offerings. o Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and maternity centers to establish training programs for healthcare professionals.
• Relationship Management
o Foster strong relationships with key medical doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate product adoption and feedback. o Maintain regular communication with hospitals and clinics to ensure ongoing support and training.
• Market Analysis and Reporting
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging clinical data to inform strategic decisions. o Prepare and present reports on medical activities, outcomes, and feedback from healthcare professionals to senior management. • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
o Ensure all medical activities comply with local regulations and ethical standards. o Liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary to maintain compliance. • Other duties could be assigned
III Requirements • University Degree in Pharmacy or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on dermatology preferred. • Fluent in Khmer and English; proficiency in French is a plus. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions. • Willingness to travel as required for meetings, training sessions, and events
