Pet food production supervisor

I. Job Responsibilities 1. Production Management: Oversee daily operations of the pet food production line, ensuring production plans are executed on time, meeting quantity and quality requirements. 2. Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure product quality meets company and regulatory standards; assist the quality department in implementing quality management measures. 3. Equipment Management: Supervise the maintenance and servicing of production equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure smooth production operations. 4. Team Management: Lead and train production team members, improve their operational skills and work efficiency, and establish performance evaluation systems. 5. Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations in the factory, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and minimizing the risk of workplace accidents. 6. Cost Control: Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce production costs, and minimize raw material and energy waste. 7. Inventory Management: Coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure sufficient raw materials and finished product stock while avoiding overstocking. 8. Process Optimization: Continuously improve production workflows, enhance automation, optimize production techniques, and improve product quality and efficiency. 9. Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, procurement, quality control, and warehouse departments to ensure smooth production operations. 10. Emergency Handling: Quickly respond to unexpected production issues, propose solutions, and ensure production progress and product quality.
II. Job Requirements 1. Education & Major: Associate degree or above, preferably in food engineering, mechanical automation, production management, or related fields. 2. Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the food or pet food production industry, with prior experience as a production supervisor or workshop manager preferred. 3. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with food production processes, quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO22000), equipment maintenance, and safety regulations. 4. Leadership & Management: Strong team leadership and training skills, ability to coordinate effectively across departments, and enhance team execution. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities to effectively convey production goals and drive implementation. 6. Execution & Responsibility: Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working under pressure to meet production targets while continuously improving workflows. 7. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze production data, identify issues, and propose optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and quality. 8. Computer Skills: Proficiency in office software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) for recording and analyzing production data. 9. Adaptability: Willingness to work in a factory environment, with strong stress tolerance and problem-solving abilities. 10. Professional Ethics: Integrity, strong work ethics, and adherence to factory management regulations.
