Purchasing Officer

Job Title: Purchasing Officer Working hour: 8 AM- 5 PM Working day: Mon-Sat Location: [at Phnom Penh Factory Chak Angré Krom ] Reports To: Procurement Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to help us buy food, drinks, and other supplies for our business. You will find the best suppliers, make deals, and make sure we always have enough stock. You’ll also keep track of orders, manage budgets, and make sure we get quality products.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Buying and Sourcing: .Find reliable suppliers for food, drinks, and other needed items. .Negotiate prices and contracts to get the best deals. .Build good relationships with suppliers to make sure deliveries are on time.
2. Managing Stock: .Check stock levels to avoid running out or having too much. .Work with the kitchen and service teams to know what they need. .Place orders to keep the right amount of stock.
3. Quality Check: .Make sure everything we buy meets our quality standards. .Inspect deliveries to ensure they match what we ordered.
4. Budget and Cost Control: .Keep track of how much we spend and make sure we stick to the budget. .Find ways to save money on purchases. .Prepare simple reports to show spending and savings.
5. Record Keeping: .Keep records of what we buy, prices, invoices, and supplier information. .Update management with regular purchasing reports.
6. Compliance and Safety: .Follow food safety and hygiene rules when buying food and drinks. .Stay updated on any changes in regulations related to purchasing.
Qualifications: .Experience in purchasing or buying, especially in the F&B industry. .Good negotiation and communication skills. .Basic understanding of stock management and budgets. .Able to use basic software like Excel and procurement tools. .Detail-oriented and well-organized. .Able to manage time and work under pressure.
