Responsibilities: • Be familiar with all hotel facilities, room rates, categories, availability, promotions, and outlet operation hours. • Have knowledge of the entire reservation procedure according to the international hotel manual system. • Assist, advise, and upsell guests who may be interested in hotels or making reservations. • Make reservations for guests based on their preferences, various requirements, and budgetary allowances. • Allocate daily tasks to reservation staff. • Handle and provide support for adding, amending, or canceling reservations from various sources such as by phone, email, online booking, website, etc. • Answer any questions guests might have about the reservation process or inquiries on the same day or within 24 hours of receipt. • Upsell when appropriate by informing guests of additional services or special packages. • Follow up and preview all arrival details that are prepared by the reservation officer. • Allocate rooms correctly and organize closely with the front office on any VIP guest. • Update the daily reservation situation, room availability, and bring the attention of the Front Office Manager on high occupancy dates. • Prepare reports related to reservations and report to management. • Preview and reconfirm the weekly forecast of group arrivals, meal request information, and dispatch to the required departments. • Monitor and coordinate group reservations activity with the Sales Department and Revenue Manager. • Ensure the rate, room availability, and hotel information on hotel websites and online are correct. • Audit and correct the monthly invoice from an online agent, then submit to e-commerce and finance. • Sort out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate Front Office Manager or E-commerce Manager. Requirements: • High school education or above, or an associate degree in hospitality. • Bachelor's degree in business administration or hospitality is advantageous for candidates with three years' experience as a reservation supervisor or assistant to a manager. • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. • Adept at controlling a busy switchboard with excellent telephone and keyboard skills. • Good computer skills, with knowledge of booking systems, both in-house and online. • Hands-on experience in taking credit/debit card payments over the phone and in-person. • Good communication and customer contact skills. • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team.
