Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance against targets.
- Generate sales reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive sales strategies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for the sales team.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned by line manager.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Candidates with experiences from Lottery or Tobacco industry is more advantageous.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work with initiatives mindset and less supervision.
