Noova Stack Technology is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Linux systems administration, virtualization, cloud technologies, monitoring tools, and automation practices:
Responsibilities:
•
Linux Systems Administration: Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux servers (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu).
•
Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
•
Security Implementation: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard systems against potential threats.
•
System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates and patching to ensure stability and security.
•
Virtualization Management: Optimize virtual machine performance and efficiently allocate resources using virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, or other cloud technology).
•
High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
•
Monitoring & Alerting: Configure and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Centreon, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, SIEM) to effectively track system health and performance. Implement alerting and notification systems (e.g., Telegram) for timely issue resolution.
•
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Identify root causes and implement preventative solutions.
Requirements:
•
Demonstrated strong proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu).
•
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM).
•
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation tasks.
•
Solid understanding of fundamental network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Firewall (IP tables).
•
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
•
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
