Job Summary:
The Training and Development Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. The role involves conducting needs assessments, creating training materials, facilitating engaging sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to support the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills, and soft skills training.
Conduct training needs assessments by working closely with managers and employees to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning content, and hands-on activities.
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions using interactive methods to ensure engagement and retention.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make improvements as needed.
Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in training and development.
Maintain training records and track employee participation and progress.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
Support career development initiatives, coaching, and mentoring programs.
Assist in developing and implementing training policies, procedures, and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
Certification in training methodologies (e.g., ATD, CIPD, Train-the-Trainer) is a plus.
Proven experience as a trainer, corporate educator, or in a similar role.
Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to develop engaging training materials and use various instructional methods.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and other training software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in training design and delivery in a corporate setting.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Experience with online learning platforms and digital training tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Office setting with occasional travel to training locations.
Hybrid work options may be available depending on company policy.
