Empentis Training Solutions a long established and successful UK-based company providing vocational training and Foundational Skills courses, programmes, and accreditation is establishing the Edify World English Language School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The school will provide English Language courses and qualifications for adult learners who work in the textiles, logistics, and hospitality industries, with a focus on business English through the NOCN suite of Skills for Life ESOL Qualifications.
We are excited to announce opportunities for well qualified, experienced ESOL teachers at the Edify World English Language School, Phnom Penh.
Job description
You will · work in a team to plan, prepare and teach high quality, inspirational, interactive, learning experiences for small classes using comprehensive teaching and learning resources. · assess for learning, tutor, and provide appropriate support to meet the needs of all individual learners at their varying levels of English language. · carry out assessments for the qualifications applying the NOCN protocols and procedures. · mark, record and upload all assessments promptly into the Learning Management System. · carry out internal moderation and quality assurance of assessments, if you have the required experience. · teach both in the school and possibly in partner company sites. · be expected to work 40 hours per week, including teaching, planning, preparation, assessment, marking, recording, reporting and professional development.
Requirements
Applicants currently living in Thailand or Cambodia are welcome. · Fluent and proficient native English speaker (passport holder from the UK, USA, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, or South Africa). · Bachelor’s degree in an English related field (Linguistics, Literature, ESOL, etc.) · A 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA (or equivalent) teaching qualification. · A passion for inspiring and supporting learners. · Excellent teaching skills. · Good communication skills. · Able to teach on weekday evenings and weekends. · Able to teach onsite and offsite. · Enjoy teaching adults (Age 15+) and small classes. · Committed to personal and professional development. · Collaborative team member and contributor. · You will be required to live in Phnom Phenh.
