◉ Summary: As the Food Processing Development Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the development of innovative processing techniques and product improvements in our fishery division. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of professionals to optimize production processes, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. ◉ Responsibilities: ■ Lead a team of food processing specialists in the fishery division, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary. ■ Develop and implement new fishery processing methods, technologies, and best practices to improve product quality, safety, and efficiency. ■ Oversee the continuous improvement of fish processing lines, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement. ■ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet high-quality standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations. ■ Research and stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to drive product development and innovation. ■ Manage product development projects, from conception through implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. ■ Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors to source cutting-edge processing machinery and materials. ■ Monitor and report on production metrics and KPIs, implementing corrective actions when necessary. ■ Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for the fishery department. ■ Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all employees adhere to safety protocols and regulations. ◉ Qualification: ■ Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Fisheries, or a related field. ■ Minimum of 2 years of experience in food processing, with a focus on fishery or seafood products. ■ Strong leadership and team management skills. ■ In-depth knowledge of food processing equipment, techniques, and safety standards. ■ Proven track record in developing and implementing process improvements and innovation. ■ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry certifications in the fishery sector. ■ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. ■ Strong project management skills, including budget management and timeline adherence. ■ Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
