Job Description: IT Specialist - HR Department
Report to: HR Manager
Position Overview: The IT Specialist in the HR Department will provide technical support to all departments within the company, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, software, and related technologies. This role also includes becoming an Odoo system trainer, responsible for training new employees on the system. Additionally, the IT Specialist will manage and maintain security cameras, access doors, and other technology-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, scanner, software, and network issues for all departments.
• Provide timely assistance to employees facing technical challenges.
2. Odoo System Training:
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the Odoo system and become a system trainer.
• Conduct training sessions for new employees who will use the Odoo system.
• Develop user guides and training materials to support ongoing learning.
3. Technology Maintenance:
• Manage and maintain security camera systems, ensuring they function effectively.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of access door systems.
• Monitor and maintain other technology-related equipment as needed.
4. System and Network Administration:
• Ensure the proper functioning of the company’s network and IT infrastructure.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance IT operations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of IT issues, resolutions, and system updates.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance and submit them to management.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with the HR Department to address technology needs and align IT solutions with HR objectives.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related services and equipment procurement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to train and guide employees effectively.
