- Conduct continuous assessment and curricular review to ensure a smooth flow of information in terms of content. - Make necessary curricular adjustments based on assessment findings. - Guidance and Support for Teachers: - Prioritize teachers’ periodic goals. - Review each teacher’s annual program allocation. - Provide support and advice to teachers. - Assist teachers in setting annual subject objectives and syllabi. - Monitor progress against annual plans. - Professional Development: - Conduct periodic workshops to enhance teachers’ competency and proficiency in teaching. - Coordinate and oversee subject-related extra-curricular activities in collaboration with the student affairs officer. - Communication and Evaluation: - Review written student evaluations received from teachers. - Meet with parents of students facing academic-related challenges. - Evaluate teachers’ performance and submit periodic progress reports. - Suggest training needs based on evaluations. - Issue correspondence letters to teachers (warnings, appreciation letters, etc.). - Other Responsibilities: - Assist in the department’s recruitment process. - Conduct an instructional orientation program annually for new teachers. - Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions during and outside school hours. - Interview new students and provide recommendations to the Campus Manager.
