• Job Title: Assistant Accountant
• Reports to: Accounting Manager / Finance Manager
• Location: GOGYM Cambodia Co., Ltd
Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, assisting the financial manager in preparing financial reports, and supporting the overall financial operations. This role ensures accurate and timely financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance:
• Day-to-day accounting operations ( making payments, receiving cash sales from cashier, bank deposit).
• Bookkeeping transactions into Accounting Software
• Assist in preparing accrued/JV expenses if any.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the Inventory list (Non-Fixed Asset) & Fixed Asset.
• Assist in preparing monthly Bank reports and reconciliation.
• File documents (PV, Invoice, Receipt, JV, Bank report, Financial Report…).
• Assist in preparing Monthly tax declaration
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Audit & Compliance:
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word...)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
