We are currently working on an exciting signage project at the airport and are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation and construction activities on-site.
Job Description: As a Construction Supervisor for the signage project, you will manage the construction and installation teams, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, within the specified time frame, and in compliance with safety regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that all signage installations meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day construction activities on-site, focusing on signage installation. Coordinate with the project manager, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation. Ensure that all work is completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on the construction site. Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process. Track project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager. Ensure that all construction and installation activities are completed on time and within budget. Maintain records of materials, labor, and equipment used on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with the project’s requirements. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor (3+ years preferred), with a focus on signage or construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. In-depth knowledge of construction site safety regulations and quality control procedures. Ability to identify and resolve construction challenges in a timely and efficient manner. Strong organizational and time-management skills. A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience in airport signage installation is an advantage.
