Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Job Summary:
As a Cook Helper at Baldwin Bistro, you will assist our kitchen team in preparing and assembling dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. Your primary responsibility will be to support the chefs and cooks in various food preparation tasks, ensuring efficiency and consistency in our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation activities, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately to maintain food quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
- Help with inventory management by restocking ingredients and notifying the supervisor of low supplies.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and coworkers.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a hot and noisy kitchen environment.
