Job Summary Officer, Procurement-Technical Material sources materials such as tools and spare parts that are necessary to support production. He/she source vendors, prepare procurement documents, arrange for logistics, and may facilitate import clearance for materials procured abroad.
Key Responsibilities 1. Gather detailed specifications of the requested materials (spare parts, mechanical tools, laboratory tools, chemical substances etc.) in collaboration with requesting functions. 2. Research and source potential vendors and register approved vendors in ERP system. 3. Compare price, quality and delivery time of competing materials with requesting function and provide a basis analysis to recommend a vendor to purchase from. 4. Prepare related procurement documents and purchasing agreements and process work in ERP system. 5. Monitor delivery to ensure that goods arrive on time. 6. Work with Finance function to facilitate payment processing for vendors. 7. Conduct work in accordance to company policies and procedures. 8. Implement other tasks that assigned by the supervisor
