Operation Manager
Role and Responsivity An Operations Manager in a Travel and Tour Company plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the company’s day-to-day operations. Their responsibilities revolve around managing teams, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring business efficiency. Below is an overview of their key roles and responsibilities:
1. Operational Planning and Management • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline tour and travel services for both In-bound and Out-bound. • Coordinate with various departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to align operations with business goals. • Monitor daily activities, including bookings, transportation, and accommodations. • Understand the Cambodia Tourism Sector 2. Team Management • Supervise and mentor operational staff, including tour coordinators, drivers, and guides. • Schedule and allocate staff resources for smooth tour operations. • Conduct training to improve team skills and knowledge.
3. Customer Experience • Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients, addressing any complaints or issues promptly. • Customize tour packages and itineraries based on customer preferences. • Collect feedback to enhance service quality.
4. Vendor and Partner Relations • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with hotels, transport providers, and other service vendors. • Ensure timely communication and coordination with external partners.
5. Budget and Cost Management • Monitor budgets for tours and other operational activities. • Control costs without compromising quality by optimizing resource usage.
6. Compliance and Risk Management • Ensure compliance with local and international travel regulations. • Address and mitigate risks associated with travel operations, such as cancellations, emergencies, or safety concerns.
Requirement •Bachler or Master Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or equivalence •3 years experiences in Tour and Travel •Excellent in communication, build and maintain relationship •Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadline •Good in Microsoft offices •Flexible working hours, including weekend and public holidays.
