Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Certified Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, with the ability to lead engaging classes that cater to various fitness levels. You will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere where clients feel encouraged and empowered.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct group Pilates classes focusing on proper technique, alignment, and safety. - Offer personalized one-on-one sessions for clients seeking tailored guidance. - Develop creative and engaging class sequences to keep participants motivated. - Modify exercises for individuals with varying fitness levels and physical limitations. - Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized. - Foster strong relationships with clients by providing accurate information about facilities and services. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into offerings.
Qualifications: - Minimum of three years of experience in fitness industry and at least one year as pilates instructor - CPR/AED certification preferred. - Broad knowledge of physical exercise and human physiology with the ability to design appropriate workout plans according to individual needs. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate clients. - Proven experience designing customized workout plans tailored to individuals’ goals.
Desired Skills: - Can communicate in English - Experience with Reformer Pilates is highly desirable. - Additional certifications in yoga or massage therapy are an advantage. - A friendly demeanor with an eye for detail, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
