Job Description:
We are hiring a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control for robotics components. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement, and optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source robotic components, wiring, sensors, and electronics.
Manage supplier selection, price negotiation, and purchasing processes.
Track and ensure on-time delivery of components for production.
Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet procurement needs.
Ensure quality control by verifying supplier materials and compliance.
Handle import/export documentation and logistics coordination.
Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
Procurement & Logistics Skills:
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience in sourcing technical and electronic components.
Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with robotics, wiring, and electronic components.
Ability to read technical specifications and component datasheets.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
Experience with inventory and supply chain management tools.
Other Skills:
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good English communication skills for supplier coordination and documentation.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in procurement, preferably in robotics or manufacturing.
