Responsibilities of Purchasing

_ Researching potential vendors
_ Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
_ Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
_ Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
_ Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels.
_ Resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to operations.
_ Track and report key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
