I. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR TASKS:
1. Identify prospective and potential clients in the healthcare, academic, and research sectors.
2. Conduct sales calls, visits, and presentations to prospective clients.
3. Assist customers in understanding product applications and benefits to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
4. Respond to customer inquiries, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
5. Track sales, customers’ performance metrics and contribute to team targets.
6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions in CRM systems.
7. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
8. Work closely with sales supervisor, product specialist, and technical support to enhance the sales process.
9. Participate in training sessions, product meetings, and team strategy discussions.
10. Collaborate with the Sales Supervisor and other team members to meet sales target.
11. Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
II. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Attitude
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field; a sales or business background may also be considered.
2. Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally within the laboratory or life sciences sector.
3. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
4. Language: English is good
5. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory equipment, reagents, and services.
6. Strong Problem-Solving and Customer-Focused Approach
7. Self-Motivated with an Ability to Work Independently
8. High Attention to Detail and Time-Management Skills
9. Results-Driven and Resilient with a Goal-Oriented Mindset
10. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
11. Honest and High Commitment
