Trust Company General Manager/CEO

Job Description:
As the Executive of the Trust Company, you will be fully responsible for the company's strategic planning, business development, and operational management. You will lead the team to ensure the efficient operation of the trust business, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and the growth of client assets. Additionally, you will be responsible for close cooperation with the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) and other regulatory bodies, participating in annual training and reporting as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop mid-to-long-term strategic plans for the company and lead the team in executing the company’s strategic goals to achieve business growth. 2. Trust Business Development: Identify market opportunities, develop and expand trust products and services, ensuring they meet market demands and remain competitive. 3. Legal & Compliance Management: Ensure that the company’s trust business complies with local and international laws and regulations, and maintain strong compliance operations and risk management. 4. License Management: Obtain, maintain, and renew trust licenses to ensure the company consistently meets legal requirements and industry standards. 5. Regulatory Compliance: Participate in annual training organized by SERC and other regulatory bodies, and submit reports as required to ensure transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. 6. Team Building & Development: Emphasize team building, drive the development of team skills, promote teamwork and maximize performance, while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. 7. Client Management: Maintain close relationships with high-net-worth clients and institutions, manage client relationships, provide customized trust solutions, and ensure client satisfaction. 8. Financial & Budget Management: Oversee the company’s financial management, set annual budgets, and ensure the achievement of profitability targets. 9. Risk Management: Establish and improve the risk control system, manage risks in trust projects, and protect company assets and client interests. 10. External Relations Management: Build and maintain good relationships with government, regulatory bodies, investors, and other stakeholders to promote the company’s business development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Law, Mathematics, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in the trust, fund, or related financial sectors as managing role. 2. Familiar with trust laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics, with excellent risk management capabilities. 3. Strong leadership and proven team management experience, with a focus on team building and development to drive team performance. 4. Excellent business development skills, with the ability to build relationships with high-net-worth clients and partners. 5. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex issues effectively. 6. Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to drive company growth through innovation and challenges. 7. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or legal qualifications are preferred.
Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
