Oversee the safe receipt, storage and retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. 2. Ensure warehouse health and safety standards are met and maintained in accordance with established rules and guidelines. 3. Establish productivity goals, standards and key measurement techniques. 4. Plan the arrangement of goods within the distribution center, ensure productivity and on time delivery targets are met. 5. Work with the related department to resolve technical issues to include quality issues. 6. Establish and monitor cost control programs and inventory control procedures. 7. Lead direct and indirect staff to include resolving employee issues, training and development and corrective actions. 8. Prioritizing, planning, delegating and controlling work flow. 9. Develop work plans to ensure appropriate staffing level, managing overtime and turnover. 10. Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. 11. Take responsibility for the security of the warehouse, equipment and maintenance. 12. Oversee fleet of vehicles, ensure their optimal operation, maintenance, and compliance with regulations. 13. Managing vehicle procurement, maintenance schedules, and driver performance to enhance efficiency. 14. Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. 15.
