Job Description: Payment Officer
Position Summary: The Payment Officer is responsible for processing player deposits and withdrawals, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, and managing the back-office banking operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and manage issues related to banking systems.
Key Responsibilities: • Process Player Transactions: Handle player deposits and withdrawals accurately and promptly, ensuring that all transactions are processed in compliance with company procedures. • Bank Statement Management: Manually upload missing bank statements into the back office, ensuring the completeness of transaction records. • Fix Portal and Release Funds: Resolve portal issues and release held deposits and withdrawals once the confirmed funds are received. • Customer Service Communication: Inform the customer service team of any issues or updates related to banks, bank accounts, or systems encountered during the day. • Ensure Timely Withdrawals: Ensure player withdrawals are processed according to established timelines through withdrawal automation and/or manual payouts. • Account Balance Management: Assist in clearing the balance of all active accounts, ensuring there are no outstanding issues. • Manage Bank Downtime: Oversee downtime for both deposits and withdrawals, managing the back-office system to minimize disruption during bank outages. • Maintain Bank Automation: Ensure that automation systems for bank accounts are running efficiently and that automated payments are processed correctly. • Monitor Automation Systems: Monitor scrapper/automation status regularly and take corrective actions, such as escalating issues to the Tech team or performing manual uploads. • Report Accuracy: Ensure that all necessary reports are corrected and updated regularly for accurate record-keeping. • Minimize Operational Costs: Work to keep daily operational banking costs to a minimum by optimizing processes and addressing inefficiencies. • External Service Communication: Coordinate with external service providers regarding deposit and withdrawal transactions and the activation of accounts. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Previous experience in a banking, finance, or payment processing role, preferably in an online gaming or e-commerce environment. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in using back-office systems and banking automation tools. • Ability to work well under pressure and troubleshoot technical or operational issues effectively. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with online payment systems or gaming industry platforms. • Knowledge of banking procedures and industry regulations. Working Conditions: • Full-time position. • Occasional flexibility required to handle banking issues outside regular working hours.
