Project Manager (Construction) - Siem Reap

ROLE: PROJECT MANAGER Company : Hunter Group Property Business : KEH Architecture & Construction Department : Architecture & Construction Report to : MD / CEO
Job responsibilities include: • Collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. • Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. • Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. • Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. • Organize and oversee construction procedure and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. • Must be well-versed in all construction methodologies, procedure, and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. • The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. • Plan all construction operation and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadline will be met. • Acquire equipment and material, monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies. • Hire contractor and other staff and allocate responsibilities. • Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed. • Evaluate the progress and manage the model of preparing detailed reports to all working groups at each site • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues • Organize the shift work of engineers, architects, master craftsmen according to the needs of each company site to ensure the divided team and continue the construction process smoothly and on time. • Ensure all technical aspects of the project are strictly complied with and in conformity with conditions of contract, particular specifications, general specifications, contract drawings & BOQ • Ensure that the health & safety requirement is provided and that they comply with authorities’ regulations • Provided guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team • Prepare program master schedule and performs critical path analysis • Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation • Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risk analysis • Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI’s
Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. • 3+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations in the Indian context. • Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics. • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders. • Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software. • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
