Reporter & Writer

Key Responsibilities:
- Research, report, and write accurate and compelling news articles, features, and reports. - Conduct interviews with sources in-person, by phone, or via digital platforms. - Monitor current events, trends, and breaking news locally and internationally. - Pitch story ideas and contribute to editorial meetings. - Collaborate with editors, photographers, videographers, and designers to produce multimedia content. - Ensure all work complies with editorial standards and ethical guidelines. - Rewrite and adapt wire content or press releases when needed. - Maintain relationships with sources and develop new contacts within the community or subject area. - Meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. - Proven experience in news reporting and writing (portfolio or samples required). - Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills. - Strong research and fact-checking abilities. - Ability to work independently and under pressure. - Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media. - Fluency in Chinese and Khmer is a plus.
