Job Title: Sales Manager (MEP) Company Name: Worldbridge Engineering Co., Ltd Reporting to: General Manager Department: Sales Station: Phnom Penh Working Hours: Mon-Sat: 8:00am – 5:30pm (half a day for Saturday) JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Manager develops and executes sales strategies to meet revenue targets and leads the sales team. Key duties include identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, maintaining client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service, overseeing sales proposals, managing the budget, and analyzing performance. The role also involves recruiting and training the team, staying updated on industry trends, reporting to executives, collaborating with departments, ensuring compliance, and performing other assigned tasks. JOB SCOPE: The role focuses exclusively on WBE’s business interests and sales activities. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Lead the creation and execution of sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage the sales team to achieve both individual and collective sales goals. - Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies for market expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. - Cultivate and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of any concerns or needs. - Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, tenders, and bid submissions. Ensure accurate forecasting and effective planning to achieve sales objectives. - Manage the sales budget, analyze financial performance, and ensure cost-effective operations. Review sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. - Recruit, train, and develop the sales team. Foster a high-performance culture through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management. - Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and seize new opportunities. - Provide timely and comprehensive reports to the executive team regarding sales performance, market trends, and business development activities. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of sales activities with overall business operations. Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to enhance sales effectiveness. - Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. - 5 to 10+ years of experience in a senior sales role, with a proven track record of managing and growing sales teams within a large organization. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a sales team. - Excellent knowledge of sales strategies, processes, and market dynamics. - Advanced understanding of sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. - Proficient in developing and executing sales plans, including conducting market research and competitive analysis. - Strong negotiation, presentation, and decision-making skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company to external stakeholders. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
