Job Title: Accounting Officer Company Name: MR Training & Job Center Reporting to: Managing Director Department: Finance Station: Phnom Penh Working Hours: Mon-Sat: 8:00am – 5:30pm (half a day for Saturday) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Manage financial transactions and record keeping for all training and job center activities. • Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports, including income, expenditures, and budgets related to training programs and job placements. • Monitor and manage the allocation of funds for various training programs and job center services. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and external funding requirements for training and job center projects. • Coordinate with the training and placement teams to align financial needs with program goals. • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and reimbursements for training-related expenses. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the training and job center operations. • Provide financial support and advice to the center’s management and training coordinators. • Support the audit process by ensuring proper documentation and records for all financial transactions related to the training programs. • Maintain financial records related to grants, funding sources, and any financial aid distributed for training and job placement programs. • Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial performance for the job center. • Participate in monthly financial review meetings, presenting reports and offering insights on financial performance. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience, quick book, preferably in the educational or training sector. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and budgeting processes. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
