Senior Accountant Manager

As the Senior Accountant Manager, the Employee is responsible to perform and supervise the following duties: Responsibility: • Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency • Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processes • Analyse the financial performance and position of the organization and develop suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements. • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process. • Supervise and review the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts for management and external stakeholders. • Troubleshooting accounting and finance issues • Performing fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors. • Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture • Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results • Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team • Liaise with Xtricate (ERP partner) to assist on accounting system errors or issues. • Establish Cash flow management on payment to suppliers. • Facilitate the HR department by providing updated information on employees, including hours of overtime work, work schedules, leave, etc. • Use management information systems strategically for effective management and control of the business • A solid understanding of employment laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices are essential • Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organizational objectives • Strongly handling multiple HR and administrative responsibilities excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement. • Monitor the customs clearance procedure to secure on-time movement of the shipments. • Control adherence to international trade rules and customs procedures. • Manage employee benefits like health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans. • Monitor the customs clearance procedure to secure on-time movement of the shipments. • Control adherence to international trade rules and customs procedures. • Other tasks assigned by GM Requirement: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration - accounting or industry-relevant equivalent • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting in-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments of a company, including finance, sales and human resources, administration • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior and board level • Experience with financial management software like ERP and collaborative tools like Microsoft SharePoint, One Drive, QuickBooks, Zoho …. • Strong skills in accounting, financial analysis and data analysis Knowledge of tax system in Cambodia. • Excellent leadership and organizational skills • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, French is a big + • Strategic planning and business development • Experience in budgeting and sales • Prior experience in HR operations, compliance, or payroll management is preferred • Experienced in multi-national companies is preferable. • Experienced in customs clearance, import and export operations, international logistics, or related roles.
