We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance of our operations. The Opportunity: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Audit Manager to lead and manage the internal audit function. The Audit Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on audits of various operational, financial, and compliance areas within the resort and casino. This role will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Key Responsibilities: • Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive audit plan based on risk assessments. Plan, organize, and execute audits in accordance with professional auditing standards. Determine the scope of audits and prepare audit programs. • Internal Controls Assessment: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency. • Financial Audits: Conduct financial audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including revenue, expenses, and assets. Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Operational Audits: Perform operational audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of various departments and processes, including gaming operations, hotel services, food and beverage, and other business units. • Compliance Audits: Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, including gaming regulations. • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Communicate audit results to management and stakeholders. • Risk Management: Identify and assess key risks facing the organization. Provide recommendations for strengthening risk management processes. • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor audit staff, if applicable. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and internal controls. • Liaison with External Auditors: Coordinate with external auditors and provide support as needed. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, with a focus on operational, financial, and compliance audits. • Prior experience in the hospitality or gaming industry is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of auditing standards (e.g., IIA standards), accounting principles (e.g., GAAP), and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. • High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
