For a new opening, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at Spices Road Bistro-Lounge. This role is perfect for an individual with foundational kitchen skills who is eager to contribute to our spice-inspired menu and grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as per the menu and under the guidance of the Head Chef.
Kitchen Support: Perform basic kitchen tasks, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
Quality Standards: Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the bistro-lounge’s standards.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Inventory Handling: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients and supplies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is an advantage but not required.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation, and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow instructions and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
Flexible and willing to learn new techniques and cuisines.
