Job Description
Technical Leadership
- Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of products and solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the technical team, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary liaison for technical matters when engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and clarifying objectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirement Analysis & Documentation
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and refine product or project requirements.
- Translate business demands into actionable specifications for the development or backend teams, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
Project & Resource Management
- Plan and coordinate technical projects, including scope, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Anticipate potential issues and ensure timely mitigation by effectively prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with managers, product owners, designers, and business analysts to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-team interactions, ensuring technical insights are integrated into product planning and roadmaps.
Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations or internal workflows.
- Drive process optimizations in technical workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards for consistent and transparent reporting of technical issues and solutions.
Reporting & Metrics
- Track and report on project milestones, technical risks, and overall performance against defined KPIs.
- Provide regular status updates to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
Staying Current & Industry Awareness
- Keep abreast of evolving industry trends, tools, and best practices in software development and infrastructure.
- Advocate for the adoption of new technologies or methodologies that align with company objectives and can enhance technical outputs.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in technical leadership, engineering management, or a similar managerial role.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in backend systems or infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of technical architectures, software development processes (SDLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools for tracking and reporting metrics is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Proven track record of collaboration and teamwork.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business operations or project coordination.
- Knowledge of software infrastructure, security, or cloud-based services.
- Experience implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.
