Job Title: Officer-Recovery
Location: Phnom Penh
Deadline: 31-January-2025
Salary: Based on Qualification and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage lessees assigned in the To-Do List to ensure timely collection of repayments and repossession of assets, as necessary.
- Achieve the targeted collection ratio and reduce PAR30 in alignment with monthly KPIs.
- Conduct phone calls and field visits to contact lessees or stakeholders at provided addresses, negotiating repayment terms or arranging asset repossession.
- Prepare and deliver relevant letters to lessees or stakeholders to prompt repayment or request asset inspection.
- Collaborate with the line manager to initiate legal actions, including filing complaints with local authorities, police, or court.
- Submit daily reports to the supervisor at the end of each day.
- Conduct follow-ups with lessees who have committed to repayment and seek support for serious cases until repayment or asset repossession is achieved.
- Review and update address information in loan files and maintain records in the system accurately and on time.
- Develop actionable plans to recover repayments or repossess assets in consultation with the supervisor.
- Travel to other provinces as required by management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan recovery or collections.
- Strong knowledge of Microfinance Institutions (MFI), banking, or the leasing sector.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with excellent communication abilities.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
